Forty-four community leaders will take part in Leadership Nashville’s 33rd class, starting this fall. The nine-month program is designed to aid community decision-makers.
Jerry B. Williams, executive director of the program, said the key to Leadership Nashville’s success is diversity. Each class represents a cross-section of the Nashville area, covering a variety of professions, industries, races, genders, religions and neighborhoods.
“Selection was especially difficult this year because of the large number of very qualified applicants,” Williams said, adding there were more than 240 applicants. The class starts in September.
