A delegation of students and Fisk University Vice President for Institutional Advancement Deb Fay meet Bill Cosby backstage before his performance in Nashville.
Before a recent performance at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, famed comedian, actor and educator Dr. Bill Cosby met with members of the Fisk family.

In their meeting with Dr. Cosby, the students were able to share their career and academic aspirations. Dr. Cosby encouraged the students to continue pursuing their goals. During the concert that followed, Dr. Cosby wore the Fisk University shirt given to him by the students moments earlier.
Bill Cosby and his wife, Camille, have always supported Fisk. It is good to see that he took time out of his busy schedule to visit the campus and talk to students. That’s one of great moments at Fisk I fondly remember-having celebrities visit the campus and mingle with the students especially when Stevie Wonder came during the ‘79 graduation and later gave us a personalized concert in the chapel:-)
