Fisk University has been awarded $500,000 by the Department of Education (DoE). In total, a grant pool of $84 million will be divided and allocated to
96 of the historically black colleges and universities in the United States.
The grant awards program, “Strengthening Black Colleges and Universities,”
allows the institutions to expand course offerings, improve student and campus services and to support faculty and staff development.
