Despite the cold and the crowds, Fisk Alumna Ella Mae Johnson (’25) made her way to Washington D.C. to attend the inauguration of President Barack Obama on January 20. Johnson, 105, is a resident of Cleveland, Ohio and is currently the oldest living African American graduate of Case Western Reserve University where she earned her masters degree in 1929.
